Ed Anonas is a seasoned hospitality executive with over 20 years of experience in finance and operations, having worked with some of the most prestigious and innovative hotel brands in the United States.

Ed joined the trailblazing Ian Schrager Hotel Group, where he played a key role in the renovation and transformation of Le Mondrian Hotel, introducing Los Angeles to its first hip, trendsetting property—complete with Rande Gerber’s iconic Sky Bar. Two years later, Ed joined Starwood Hotels & Resorts, contributing to the launch of the W Hotels brand. As a member of the original development team, he helped design and implement comprehensive financial controls and procedures that drove profitability and accountability across the brand. He also played a pivotal role in launching Starwood’s Six Sigma Program, earning certification through rigorous training.

From 2002 to 2009, Ed served as Director of Finance and Operations at the legendary Hotel Bel-Air. In addition to overseeing day-to-day operations, he established cost controls, implemented labor productivity standards, and initiated detailed monthly financial reports to ownership. He also supported management in securing approvals for 15 new suites and a 15,000-square-foot spa, which significantly enhanced the hotel’s revenue and reputation.

Over the years, Ed has brought his expertise to a variety of luxury and boutique properties, including The Beverly Hills Hotel, Belmond El Encanto in Santa Barbara, The Langham in Pasadena, Sunset Marquis, The Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel, The Standard Hotels, Ace Hotel, and, most recently, The Crescent Hotels & Resorts. Ed is also involved in the Hotel industry community as an active board member of Hospitality Finance and Technology Professionals in Los Angeles, where he has served as Treasurer, Vice President, and President.
